Is THE GLOW PROJECT Going To Be Bigger Than THE SECRET?
Is the GLOW Project with its movie, magazine and sold-out events the next phenomenon? Bound to be bigger than The Secret?
The site explains the GLOW this way:
How is it that some women are wildly successful, while others, with the same relative education, experience, passion and goals for success, struggle? We all have the same amount of hours in a day, yet some are able to accomplish so much more. What is it that they do so differently? What is it that they possess that is unique? What is it that makes them GLOW?
There is a powerful essence inside of every woman—a critical ingredient that only women possess. When realized, nurtured and expanded, it becomes the key to true happiness and success. You deserve happiness, fulfillment, and the opportunity to achieve wild success. STOP what you are doing. Take a breath, and connect with your GLOW.
“You gotta GLOW, girl.”
Guru’s Note: There’s an amazing group of women powering this potential phenomenon. They’re not just inspiring, they’ve got life, business and intellectual capital galore. And how serendipitous to launch just as our world is falling apart. Women are the ones who are going to have to clean up the mess. As always. We’d better figure out how to GLOW.

after watching the video, I still have no idea what it is….?
Me either. I am going to download and watch the movie today and post my thoughts later. This potential phenomenon feels much less grassroots than The Secret (which actually wasn’t that organic); very strategic and so far, well-executed, applying all the tenets of viral marketing. Thanks so much Antje for your comment.
So, what is it, Guru? Dying to hear more….
I’m very interested to hear more. As a small business owner and perpetual student of everything, I always want to learn more. This seems very intriguing and powerful based on the tear count in the movie.
Thanks for your comment, Monique. (You know how much I love that soapmaking post on your blog) I ordered the DVD — will share my take on it as soon as I get it. I am intrigued ….
The women that are featured in this are top executives, entrepreneurs and successful. And, all of them have overcome great obstacles to get where they are. I was amazed to hear the heartbreaking stories, but more amazed at hearing that these women (abandoned as a child, tabbed as “retarded”, told they were worthless) rose above and simply fought harder. GLOW is different for every person but, in essence, is the drive within to find your success and happiness. GREAT MOVIE!
I thought the GLOW Poject was extremely moving and powerful. Why hasn’t this been on Oprah! This movie should be required watching for all women and teens.

GLOW is from eWomen Network of which I am a member in San Francisco. It is a national, and in Canada too, organization of women and a few men in business. Go to http://www.ewomennetwork.com to see more and find a local monthly meeting near you. Meetings have a speaker and networking time. National conference is in Dallas in August when it is hottest!
